DIAMONDS: fourteen old European-cut diamonds totaling approximately 1.75-carat, approximately E-F color, VS clarity.

METAL:  platinum, see note below.

*NOTE:  the brooch has a 14-karat yellow gold pin stem, typical of the period when it was made and original to the jewel itself.

WEIGHT:  6.1 grams.

HALLMARKS:  signed Tiffany & Co.

MEASUREMENTS:  approximately 1 ¾” (4.50 cm) long and 3/16” (5 mm) wide overall.

CONDITION:  high magnification photographs show considerable design details, and that the item is in exceptionally good condition, all consistent with age and wear.
